After retiring from exhibiting in 2009 it is the first time that the Artist Claudine Hauke shows her contemporary Art in public. The opening Night is held at the 10^th of August at CVD Framers and Gallery in Berea East London. The Exhibition is as much a retrospective of the last years as it is a revelation of a series of artworks which has never been shown before. Colorful compositions which were reborn out of existing oil paintings, from the beginning of her carrier, by being sanded down and reused as a newly created background for her so well-known scribbles and lines.

To create a more widespread understanding of her work and development she combines these colorful compositions with earlier work which has a much more industrial feel and a few Portraits in her typical style.

The Studio Exhibition in the old Breitenbach Plant in Siegen Germany shows Contemporary Abstract Art by Claudine Hauke.

The Exhibition will be introduced by Katherine Schroederfels from the Schroederfels Gallery in Siegen.

Already well-known for her colorful abstract work, the Artist Claudine Hauke put together an Exhibition which is inspiring and stimulating. The combination of structure, build up by oil paint and the intriguing color combinations open up space for emotional exploration. Striking deep within, the art work frees us of the usual dominance of reality and with this there opens up space for a new emotional state.

The Art Exhibition Whither Chemistry: The Disjunction of Dilettantism opened its doors on Friday the 09th of July 2002 in the old part of

the Irle Brewery in Siegen Germany.

The Artist Claudine Hauke combined a selection of contemporary Abstract Art and colorful ceramics to emphasize the female form.

The Exhibition was an impetus to discuss the widely socially dictated beauty image of the female form and the implications within.

Bright colors and round forms adorn huge Canvases and ceramics to fill the audience with positivity and acceptance. The motto seemed the bigger the better. Even the round and rather boldly pictured Female figures trigger far more the feeling of comfort and shelter than a rejection or revolution.

The introduction was made by Wolfgang Suttner from the Kultur Buero in Siegen.

Step into the World of Contemporary Abstract Art by German–born Artist Claudine Hauke guided by Poetry. She hopes to bring you, as an audience, closer to Abstract Art through the combination of her Contemporary Art and Poetry. A Guidance system!

The Art pieces are intuitive and out of motion, you can feel the speed, being lost in the Moment of Creation. No thinking, no specific composition; the result often surprising, with marks upon them, yet energetic and harmonic The Poems which have been chosen are from well – known Poets and Poets not yet known at all. They talk about life; Some are encouraging some are emotional. They tell a story, a story of life. They will give you guidance to understand and see.

Life is served…
The exhibition is chatter about Life in general and in particular.
Life is served; how we deal, is up to us.
Life is served; it leaves marks upon us
Life is served; but it makes us stronger
Life is served; it makes us more beautiful
It makes us the person we are.

Evanescence – Abstract Photo Exhibition

Evanescence

This time the German-born Artist Claudine Hauke presents a series of rather small-scale photographs.

While her main medium is abstract painting, as a Contemporary Artist, she works in different mediums to express her thoughts and feelings. In this particular series of work, she deals with Time, Time passing, volatility, transiency, or in short Evanescence.

After her husband of 35 years was diagnosed with cancer end of last year her thoughts were a lot around Evanescence. Through the first shock, a wave of anxiety, the whole treatment, and a positive outcome. Going through this, she decided on seeing the beauty in every moment.

We all live on borrowed time. We humans, animals, and nature, all objects on this earth have a life to live.

Tick-tock…tick-tock The passing of time, it crawls, it runs.

It’s life, it is omnipresent.

Time can not be kept at bay.

In the photo series here presented the Artist shows how much beauty there is to find in evanescence. We rush, we chase, we pursue, we flee, we dawdle and amble along – time is moving forward, unstoppable.

It tears, rips, splits, and bursts. And shows beauty all the way right to the end.

Appreciate and be grateful for every moment. Moments, so many are denied and you will see the beauty all the way right to the end.

The Opening of the Limani Gallery

A new vibrant space in East London.
It’s a space of encounter and communication as well as creation and inspiration under the Umbrella of Focus Design. A showcase of Talent, Art, and Design: willing to satisfy our constant need and longing for development and progress.
The opening night brought artists, Designers, and the community together for an evening of eclectic exchange; much appreciated and enjoyed by many.
Something to talk about for a long time.
They are here to stay… to enrich the cultural and educational program of East London.

Their program contains Exhibitions, Art Talks, Lectures, Open Studios, and more.
A diverse program to enjoy and to meet with the creatives of the present and the future.

Beethoven under the stars

Music 1: Elize in the Park
Beethoven: Für Elise

The stage is set with a backdrop depicting a serene park. Elize enters from stage right, carrying a sun umbrella.

Elize enters from stage right, portraying elegance and poise. Elize walks along the path, her movements graceful, taking in the beauty of her surroundings. Elize nods politely as she passes acquaintances, acknowledging them with a slight bow of her head. Elize stops at various groups of women, engaging in conversation with them. Her interactions are warm and animated. Elize changes her course, heading towards her friends with a smile on her face. Elize reaches her girlfriends and joins them under the tree, the sound of their laughter filling the scene.

Music 2: Ludwig arrives at the Park
Beethoven: Symphony No.1 in C Major, Op 21 Adagio molto – allegro con brio

Ludwig, a young man in his Sunday’s best, enters the park with his friends. They stroll through the meadow and along the path, laughter echoing in the air. More young men join them along the way. Ludwig spots Elize ahead of him.

Ludwig to his friends: Let’s have some fun!

They playfully dart through the woods, hiding behind trees, laughter and excitement fueling their game. Finally, they reach a clearing where the girls have gathered. Ludwig emerges from his hiding spot and steps forward, introducing himself.

Music 3: Romance
Beethoven: Symphony No.6 in F Op.68 Pastoral Part 5

Elize and Ludwig, deeply in love. The air crackles with their intense passion, flames of love igniting between them, reaching their peak. They are drawn together by an irresistible force. Unspoken desire and affection ends in turmoil.

Music 4: The Argument
Beethoven: Symphony No.8 in F major Op.93 – Allegretto scherzando

Elize and Ludwig are in the midst of a heated argument, their voices escalating with each passing moment. Initially, Elize is the one initiating the conflict, but as Ludwig tries to mediate, he too becomes increasingly agitated. The tension between them mounts, a turbulent sea of emotions are swirling. As the argument intensifies, the atmosphere grows darker, shadows lengthening ominously. The threat of disaster looms over them, palpable in the charged air. They exchange words like weapons, each sentence adding fuel to the fiery exchange. The music ends with a sense of unresolved conflict.
